Reports to : Regulatory Affairs  Manager - South ASEAN Hub

 

Purpose of position :  

Provide efficient regulatory support and effective implementation of regulatory strategies to ensure regulatory compliance of products across all product categories (Oral Care, Personal Care, and Home Care) in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia, in order to achieve company’s business objectives.

 

Core Responsibilities :

 

  • Implement the developed actionable regulatory strategies to ensure CP products are regulatory compliant throughout the product life cycle
  • Prepare & maintain complete registration dossier and submissions to the health authorities for product registration, licenses and permits approvals including halal certification
  • Liaise with Regulatory authorities and certification bodies  (e.g: NPRA, HSA, BPOM, Brunei MOH, JAKIM, LPPOM MUI, BPJPH) on submissions and approvals,
  • Conduct regulatory review and approval on product formula, claims, label and promotional materials
  • Work within multi-subsidiary and multifunctional teams to review, update, maintain and ensure effective implementation of Halal Assurance Management System of manufacturing sites that supply to South ASEAN Hub.
  • Assist immediate Manager to prepare claims defense and respond to challenges from authorities 
  • Function as the second Halal Executive for the Company and also a member of the Internal Halal Committee of local and halal certified CP manufacturing sites.
  • Participate in cross-functional team business planning meetings and provide regulatory and halal advice, strategy and updates to ensure timely launch of products
  • Monitor any new or amendment of regulations and update business partners as necessary
  • Support immediate Manager in participation in local trade association and technical working groups that are relevant to  Colgate business
  • Conduct regulatory assessments
  • Provide administrative support on activities related to purchase order, goods receipt  to ensure smooth running of the SAH regulatory department

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology or related life sciences

 

Experience:

Minimum 2 years working experiences in Regulatory Affairs with direct experiences in

  • Managing Malaysia Halal certification in Cosmetic,
  • Medical Device, Pharmaceutical,
  • Regulatory Consultancy or Food industry.

Candidates with Chemist, Quality, R&D experiences in the mentioned industry can be considered.

 

Travel Required: Upto to 10% of time
