Are you interested in a Data Governance Analyst role? We are looking for you to join our team!
The ideal candidate will support the governance team in the information and execution of data governance framework, data quality, data compliance, policy and standards. This position works on the implementation of an enterprise digital data governance program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop control structures within a simple environment to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels.
- Provide thought leadership and participate with projects that involve any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes.
- Ensure controls for data integrity are in place over applications by performing data integrity gap analysis.
- Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and IT.
- Work with business partners to capture and understand functional requirements and develop sophisticated queries and provide reports accordingly.
- Understand and apply privacy laws and regulations to work.
- Compare technologies and make recommendations to senior members of the team.
- Write various documents such as functional requirements.
REQUIRED BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years data quality or similar level data analysis experience
- 1+ years SQL and VBA
- Experience with 1P, 2P, 3P data
- Knowledge of media data
- Solid experience of databases and data structures
- Proficiency with Google Suite/ Microsoft Excel, Access, Project
- Strong analytical and time leadership skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Data compliance (GDPR, CCPA) knowledge
- Experience with data governance tools or other tools for data management (e.g., Alation, Calibra or BigID)
- PCI compliance certification
- 1+ years commercial / digital services experience
