About the Customer Development Manager Whole Foods & Natural Channel:

Whole Foods is one of our biggest retailers, and we need a dedicated liaison to lead our relationship with them. This role is equal parts' business, creative and shopper marketing. You’ll play futurist, advocate, and business strategist every day.

What you’ll be doing...

Be a translator! Actively transition our Tom's brand strategy into Whole Foods customer strategy.

Be an idea creator. Develop business plans for Whole Foods & UNFI. Use consumer insights and competitor awareness to develop customer marketing strategies.

Be a storyteller! Advocate and drive growth through creative, authentic Tom’s storytelling and strong customer engagement. Deliver on financial goals & leading customer P&L.

Be our advocate and representative! In this role, you are going to be representing us and making relationships with Marketing, Supply Chain, our Third Party Agency and Customer teams across the country. These relationships grow with trust, integrity, achieving deliverables and executing strategy.

Be an inspirer! Encourage Whole Foods retailer/shopper to grow our category in ways they never envisioned before.

Be a Naturals Specialist. You know all the Naturals trends, what ingredients are going mainstream, what new products are landing, what people are excited about—and what they’re not. Naturals is a sophisticated world, and this role needs to be highly informed about the ins and outs of it.

Be an entrepreneur! Lead your financial plan, try new things, find opportunities.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5 years of proven ability in sales roles or adjacent experiences required
  • 4+ years Account Management and selling experience.
  • 4+ years prior Broker management experience and/or leadership role in Broker Manager marketplace a plus.
  • Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI) account.
  • Experience working in consumer product goods.
