Position Purpose:

 

We are looking for an Analytics Manager who will support our cross-functional teams with insights

gained from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find

opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of

different courses of action. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data

analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating

algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business

results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of

stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering

solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

 

 

Let’s talk about main responsibilities:

Global coordination:

 

  • Collaborate with the Global Commercial Analytics team to develop & implement the Analytics Roadmap

  • Partner with the Global Commercial Analytics team & IT to align on data architecture, tools and technologies

 

Local leadership:

 

  • Design & lead the Analytics Roadmap for LATAM

  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to address business challenges

  • Assess quality of data sources

  • Evaluate technical feasibility of business problems

  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes

  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy

  • Lead data automation projects to aggregate disparate data sources

  • Communicate technical concepts & information to a non technical audience in a clear & compelling manner

  • Leverage data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Data Studio) to simplify & automate data sharing

 

Personal accountability:

 

  • Lead change within the LATAM Commercial Analytics team

  • Develop the team through 121s, feedback, on the job coaching

  • Identify development opportunities

  • Display a growth mindset & “can do” attitude

  • Take personal accountability for the delivery of key initiatives and projects

  • Operate as a vital member of the extended leadership team

  • Develop relationships with regional & global counterparts in order to share best practice and apply learning

 

What you need for this position:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer science, Business or related fields required

  • At least 5 years of experience and at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Analytics

  • Proficiency with SQL

  • Proficiency with Python and/or R for data manipulation 

  • Experience with data modeling techniques

 

Is a plus if you have:

 

  • Master's degree in quantitative field

  • Experience with Data Visualization tools like Google Data Studio and Tableau

  • Experience with sales and/or marketing analytics

  • Understanding of data architecture and data engineering
