We are looking for a temporary HR Administrator to support our DACH region from our office in Hamburg. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle and be a key part of our HR Operations team, ensuring smooth and compliant HR administration and acting as a reliable partner for employees, HR Business Partners and our Payroll Specialist.

 

Responsibilities:

 

HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle

  • Prepare, issue and manage employment contracts, contract amendments and other HR documents

  • Maintain and update digital and physical employee files, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines and legal requirements

  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities

  • Liaise with payroll regarding new hires, employee changes, absences and terminations. 

  • Assist with audits and provide HR documentation when required.

 

Time Tracking & Updating HR system & Employee Support

  • Act as first point of contact for employees regarding our time tracking system Interflex (e.g., working hours, absences, corrections) and liaise with the Payroll Specialist to ensure correct and timely consideration of time data in payroll 

  • Update employment related information in our HR system Success factors

  • Coordinate and resolve employee requests in a timely and service-oriented manner

 

Reference Letters & Documentation

  • Draft and issue employment reference letters in line with local legal requirements and internal standards

  • Ensure high quality, consistency, and legal compliance of all HR documentation

 

Collaboration & Interfaces

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to support them with reliable HR data and documentation

  • Collaborate with the Payroll Specialist to ensure smooth end-to-end HR and payroll processes

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR administrative processes and tools

 

Your profile:

  • Completed commercial education, ideally with a focus on HR or Business Administration, or a comparable qualification

  • Several years of experience in HR administration in an international or matrix organization preferred

  • Solid knowledge of German labor law basics, especially regarding contracts and reference letters

  • Confident handling of HR systems (Interflex or Success Factors experience of advantage) 

  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is required

  • High attention to detail, reliability and a structured way of working

  • Strong service mindset, proactive communication and a collaborative approach
